Consequently, my generation lacks pensions for old age as the fund has already been depleted; new generations will have to bear enormous taxes to support the elderly. Korea's unique Confucian culture and pride in homogeneity cause severe racial discrimination against foreigners, therefore growth due to immigration is highly unlikely. Therefore, for Korea's survival, the government may need to encourage euthanasia as a way of voluntary suicide among the elderly.
